Description of Organization:
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for Kern County residents by teaching individuals to read, write and speak the English language and by enabling them to become more productive members of our community.

Literacy Programs:

  • Adult Basic Education Program
  • English as a Second Language Program
  • General Educational Development Program
  • Family Literacy Programs

Program Specifics:

  • Target population: Youth ages 14 through adults
  • Days of operation: Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Target Communities: Kern County

How Results are Measured:

  • Pre & Post tutoring assessments

Estimated numbers served:

  • 1,000 people per month
