Collaborative Members

The Collaborative meets every other month and has four working committees to support its role:

  • A Steering Committee, which serves as the leadership of the Collaborative;
  • A Data Committee, which is responsible for obtaining data and best practice information and for compiling a comprehensive community-wide resource directory of all area reading programs in order to identify gaps and opportunities for further collaboration and to effectively target and coordinate volunteer and financial resources on programs that work.
  • A Resource Committee, which is responsible for researching and obtaining resources to support the work of the Collaborative, such as completing a $3.5 million Early Reading First federal grant application;
  • A Marketing Committee, which is responsible for publicizing the efforts of the Collaborative and promoting its initiatives.
